There is a place called the Trump Store (of course) and it sells expensive stuff (no doubt), supposedly for the Trump Foundation (let me tell you). For sale is a $149 Christmas ornament shaped like the iconic Trump hat. It has, written in 14k gold (naturally), the words “Make America Great Again”.
Can’t make this stuff up.
“President-elect Trump loves Christmas and makes a point of proudly saying ‘Merry Christmas’ every chance he gets,” the Trump store manager said in a statement. “This collectible ornament commemorates Trump’s commitment to the Christmas spirit and will be a great addition to your family’s tree this year.”
The Trump store, which raises money for a Trump committee, also sells $55 sweatshirts and $35 T-shirts. Any purchases are considered donations to the organization and “are not transactions for the purchase of goods,” according to the site (that’s YUGE!).
In other words, these are gifts they can’t return after the holidays. (Is this a great country or what?)
However, there is a fly in the ointment: evidently these same ornaments can be had via Amazon and they are getting ripped in the reviews.
All we can say is that if you buy this $150 ornament it better be going on a $2000 tree.
